Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring type of silica rock that is razor sharp on a microscopic level but completely non-abrasive for humans. 

It is used as a mineral-based pest deterrent that completely dehydrates pests but can also enrich your soil with Silica.

As an Amendment: 

We recommend mixing 1 cup of DE per 25L of Soil and 1/8th cup each cycle after harvest.

As a Pest Deterrent: 

We recommend covering the top and bottom of all foliage with DE. If the greenery is lightly damp, this will really help adherence.
